Caramel popcorn balls
Ingredients:
10 cups popped popcorn
14 ounces light caramels
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 tablespoons water
Directions:
Keep popped popcorn warm in deep roasting pan in oven at 200 degrees.
In heavy saucepan over low heat, melt caramels (unwrapped), stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes. Add corn syrup and water; mix until smooth.
Slowly pour over popcorn in large bowl or pan, mixing well. Shape into balls, using buttered hands. Let set until firm on foil or buttered wax paper. Wrap in plastic wrap; tie with ribbon.
